re-discovery

i had a random thought just now about a band, or rather a song i used to listen to in high school. the band is called this is my suitcase, the song is called "chivalry at her finest. " i was turned on to it when a friend put it on a mix cd for me. i loved it. the rest of the mix was really good as well, but that song by far stood out. it was catchy, but not in the annoying way like a lady gaga song. it was fun and still seemed to be meaningful to me. unfortunately i have no idea what happened to that mix cd . my friend said he no longer has that song (some computer issue or something), and i cant seem to find it anywhere. it was a song from an indie band from columbus ohio that they released not part of an ep, or not really at all. i have no idea where he found it. the band offers you the capability to buy their old ep's online, but unfortunately not this song. i found a live version of it on youtube, but the quality does not even come close to matching up to the version i had.


i plan on continuing my quest. in the meantime i'm enjoying the songs they have on their myspace, and the few ones they have on their purevolume for free download. i'm happy to report that their sound has mutured without losing its fun heartwarming essence. i'm so happy i thought abotu them and that they're just as i remembered, but with new stuff. i hope you enjoy them as much as i have been.
